Odir and Cynthia Brandao serve as missionaries in Sao Paulo, Brazil, with the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism. Sao Paulo, the largest city in Brazil with a population of approximately 20 million, is a melting pot of cultures, ethnicities, and ages. Presently they are assisting a young church, New Life Baptist Church, in teaching, discipleship, leadership training, and media/design. One of their primary ministries involves youth ministry through small groups, camp ministry, and challenging them to serve the local church. Odir assists the local pastor in preaching and pastoral duties. They desire to serve in the local church, equipping Brazilians to reach this vibrant city for Christ.
